Lela Rose’s new boutique designed with Studio DB combines ready-to-wear and Ranch collections with accessories and home design items.

LELA ROSE, with its blend of elegant dresses and western-inspired Ranch collections, seems tailor-made for Montecito, but the designer’s new boutique at The Post is her first foray into California. Rose, who was raised in Texas and studied painting and sculpture in Colorado before landing at Parsons School of Design in New York, has an eye for color and embellishment in her ready-to-wear fashion.
Her new boutique, reflecting the West Coast’s indoor-outdoor architectural style, was designed in partnership with Studio DB and is decorated with her signature lasso motif. The space includes a dried-flower installation by Tedde Minogue of floral design studio Scenery and handmade metal birds in tribute to the region’s bird reserve—and avian motifs frequently turn up in the lush prints included in her collections. 1807 E.
