yifat3Despite a résumé rife with A-list weddings and soirees, bicoastal event producer Yifat Oren would be the first to shy away from her “celebrity party planner” title. And though the industry veteran of 16 years would readily assert her coveted top-notch rank, she, without a missing a beat, would also avow that her success is merely the result of her “complete, all-out passion” for her work and her self-described understated and eclectic vision. Producing events that she says “puts the focus on what’s truly important,” she lets nature and soul take center stage. “I truly believe that we are headed into a time of less display and more emotion; less show, more meaning,” she affirms. Trading the usual suspects for “surprising locations, like a sunset wedding on a Colorado ranch, a walk through the Redwoods in Big Sur, or luscious garden party in Montecito,” it should come as little surprise that the “total design and architecture geek” and part-time Ojai resident should possess an affinity for the natural mecca yifatpqwe call home. She notes, “Professionally, I’ve created so many events here—celebrations of love and life—that I’ve developed and emotional connection to Santa Barbara.”
